This is from a monastery in the village Pivan, Czech Republic. It’s a ruin at the moment, but they are rebuilding from the top (new roof), so in time this might be history. Photographer: Jens-Chr. Kjær of Brande Lokal Net.

Mosaics decorate the main door to the Hotel Pariz in Prague, built in 1904 by Czech architect Jan Vejrych.
