Fanlight and Sidelights

Elegant doorway with fanlight and sidelights. In archicture, “fanlight” is a semicircular window above a door with radiating bars, and “sidelights” are glass panels on either side of a door. The surrounding architectural detail is so beautiful that you hardly notice that the doors themselves are very plain and lacking in ornamentation. Taken in June 2006.
